The Persecution of Ex-Muslim Christians in Europe
The Persecution of Ex-Muslim Christians in France and in Europe. The European Center for Law and Justice (ECLJ) has published a report based on the objective survey to determine whether people of Muslim origin suffer persecution for having converted to Christianity.

The Persecution of Ex-Muslim Christians in France and in Europe - report of the European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ), based on first-hand interviews, reveals the challenges that ex-Muslim European converts face when leaving their religion. All ex-Muslims suffer from their decision to leave Islam, but the difficulties they encounter vary significantly. While the majority face ostracization, some have also experienced violent assault. Even though Sharia Law is not enforced in Europe, the growing presence of important Muslim communities in major European cities poses a threat to the religious freedom of those seeking to leave Islam.
